Brazilian Bikini A Must Have For All Young Beach Going Girls

From the late fifties till today women of many countries are found wearing Brazilian bikini and relaxing themselves on the vast beaches spread all across the world. The bikini is not only a clothing of the modern world but it was also worn by the women of the ancient Roman civilization. From then till now bikini has undergone various transformations and now it has become the dress code of the beaches.

Various Kinds And Types Of Bikinis
The Brazilian bikini worn mostly in the beaches varies widely in color, types, print and materials. Taking of materials, bikini is made in various types of materials. Beginning from cotton, it is now made in nylon and lycra. Some designers have also made an advanced version of Brazilian bikini made with waste materials or by products generated as a result of the production activities. Some have even tried making bikini with newspaper which gets dissolved in water. Now to mention about the prints floral bikini were a rage and a fashion in the 1960’s. Nowadays in addition to the floral prints we have bikini in polka dots, lining, stripes and animal prints. 


Ancient Notion About Bikinis
As Brazilian Bikini conceals less and reveals more about femininity it wasn’t very open heartedly accepted in the medieval ages. Women were reluctant to wear it. Many religious organizations had banned describing it as very sinful, outrageous and indecent.  So strong was the resistance of these people that the organizers of the famous “Miss Universe” beauty pageant were forced to withdraw bikini from their competitions.

Legal And Religious Reluctance
With the Pope also describing the Brazilian Bikini as sinful people of the Catholic Community also banned bikini and forbade the women of their family from wearing them. The very well advanced nations of the world namely Spain, Portugal, Vatican, France, Italy, Belgium, and also the United States banned bikini in their countries. But with the advancement of the society the narrow mindset changing people gradually accepted bikini and gave the women permission to wear them.

The Arrival Of Bikini In India

India being a country vast in its cultural diversity accepted bikini very much late then their foreign counterparts. Brazilian Bikini first came to India when Sharmila Tagore first wore it in a song of her famous film called “An Evening In Paris”. The film garnered a lot of attention because of this song and also raised a few eyebrows. But her bold step was very well supported by the other industry actress as well. From then there was no looking back. After 2005 it became quite a natural thing with actresses wearing Brazilian Bikini in their pictures.
