A word of caution


For all the advantages that advertising online has, there are some disadvantages as well. In the traditional form of marketing, there was human interaction in the form of a sales representative who met the potential client. This is absent in digital marketing. As a result the potential client gets a mail or a proposal which however warmly worded can never replace the sensitive human touch. Also the clients have the option of blocking mails and other online marketing material but a visit by the sales person cannot be blocked off and will eventually take place.
